Atypon Systems Selects Intacct’s ERP On Demand to Manage Global Business Operations
Leading Provider of Electronic Publishing Software and Services Chooses Intacct to Facilitate Rapid Growth in Europe

SAN JOSE, Calif., September 26, 2005 — Intacct Corporation, the leader in on-demand ERP, today announced that Atypon Systems Inc., a leading provider of electronic publishing software and related services for scholarly publishers and other content providers, has selected Intacct’s ERP On Demand suite to manage its business operations in the United States and Europe. Intacct’s Web-native, subscription-based ERP applications help Atypon reduce IT costs, accelerate market growth worldwide and tightly control corporate governance across offices in California, New York and the United Kingdom.

Intacct delivers financial, supply chain, professional services automation and business analytics software as an on-demand service to midsize companies with multicurrency and multilocation operations. With its recent acquisition of e-publishing service Extenza and the opening of a U.K. office, Atypon stands at the threshold of significant global growth as publishers and information users require an electronic solution for content distribution across borders.

"Intacct ends the pain of scaling our company internationally by erasing the technological and economic obstacles of building a worldwide financial, supply chain and business infrastructure network," said Georgios Papadopoulos, CEO of Atypon. "ERP On Demand gives us the tools to consolidate and process financials from various offices, track order entry in real time and diligently enforce corporate accounting policies worldwide."

Since 1996, Atypon has focused on providing software and services to the information industry. Atypon has two electronic publishing services, Atypon Link and Atypon Premium, a highly sophisticated platform that powers major Web sites, such as Blackwell Synergy, Annual Reviews, and CrossRef, as well as midsized commercial and not-for profit publishers.

"ERP is no longer limited to realizing higher efficiencies in a business," said Robert J. Jurkowski, CEO and president of Intacct. "To thrive and profit, Atypon and other midsize corporations must be able to react quickly to changes in the market place. ERP On Demand is the only Web-native solution that gives companies the flexibility to adapt business processes to new market conditions while simultaneously maximize productivity."
