Visionary Conference
September 16, 2003 (Los Gatos, Cal.)— Intacct Corporation, the leading provider of online professional accounting solutions, today announced details of its NetGain 2003 Accounting Visionary Conference. The annual NetGain conference will take place October 23-25, 2003, at Hayes Mansion in San Jose, California.
The theme of NetGain 2003 is "The Power of E-Practice," focusing on making the Intacct Accounting System a wellspring of profitability while offering expanded services to clients. The conference will bring together hundreds of the nation's leading CPA firms, accounting outsourcers, and system integrators who use the Intacct online accounting system to manage their practices and clients, and to extend their capabilities and the services they offer. NetGain 2003 will explore the power and potential of becoming a full-fledged e-practice.
"This year the NetGain Conference will bring together a top-notch group of accounting professionals who are looking to expand their professional horizons," said David C. Thomas, Intacct CEO. "These outstanding people will enjoy fine speakers, an up-close look at Intacct's newest developments, and a chance to connect with other visionaries, as we help them explore ways to market, sell, and profit from using Intacct's accounting services."
The event will feature keynotes from Intacct's CEO David C. Thomas, and Dev Mukherjee, IBM's VP of Strategy & Marketing, eBusiness Hosting, IGS. The conference will also include high-level review panels, E-Practice strategy sessions, best practices sessions, Intacct system training, new products announcements, and partner exhibits.
"At NetGain I get a firsthand look at upcoming releases and new applications we can possibly use in our practice," said Bob Taylor of MHTB Consulting.
"What I like best about NetGain is the opportunity to network with other e-practice partners. We can share ideas on marketing and how the system can benefit our clients-and prospects. I think that it's time well spent," said Randy Harrod of Randy Harrod CPA.
Sponsoring partners include Avectra, b-50, PayMaxx, CrossApps, IBM, The Principal Financial Group, and T.Wasson Consulting.
As an added benefit for CPA attendees, several of the event sessions will offer eligibility for CPE credit.
