September 16, 2003 (Franklin, Tenn.)— Intacct, the leading provider of online professional accounting solutions, today announced its selection of PayMaxx, Inc., a national leader in payroll processing and an Internet payroll pioneer, as a preferred vendor.

Through the arrangement, Intacct will co-market PayLoad Suite, PayMaxx's PC-based payroll system, to employers with 100 to 5,000 employees. PayLoad Suite features an easy-to-use Windows or network-ready environment, and interfaces with a variety of third-party products including human resources and general ledger systems, and electronic time clocks.

Intacct also will offer PowerPayroll, PayMaxx's Internet-based payroll and tax filing service created specifically for companies with 100 or fewer employees. Using PowerPayroll, smaller companies anywhere in the United States can submit their payroll via the Internet and receive payroll checks and reports the next day or, alternatively, print their payroll checks and reports in their offices. In addition to basic payroll processing, PowerPayroll customers can take advantage of nationwide tax filing, electronic new-hire reporting, and direct deposit services.
