January 27, 2002 (Los Gatos, Calif.)— Intacct® Corporation, the leading provider of online professional accounting solutions, today announced that it has been named in Accounting Today magazine's elite roster of Top 100 Products. Conducted by the publication's editorial team, the annual Top 100 Products study examines and identifies the software and web-based solutions that most notably impact the professional accounting industry.

"There was a time when the accounting industry and the Internet were rarely mentioned in the same sentence," said Intacct CEO, David C. Thomas. The study, and the resulting roster of top products, is conducted and presented in multiple functional categories ranging from stand-alone accounting software to enterprise resource planning (ERP) to web-based solutions. Products are only included in the roster once they have met specific benchmarks recognized by the publication.
