Integration for the SaaS Environment Made Easy
Bob Moul - President and CEO, Boomi
Friday, October 26, 10:15am, Meeting Room B4
The acceptance and popularity of SaaS applications has continued to rise at a dramatic pace, yet integration has become the Achilles heel of the SaaS industry. The integration experience for companies deploying SaaS applications is completely incongruent with the SaaS paradigm, particularly in terms of cost, complexity, and implementation timeframes. To date, customers have had two options; either purchase expensive software packages or hardware appliances that need to be installed and maintained on premise or enter into costly services engagements that tend to lock them in and lack flexibility. There are a few, truly SaaS-based integration options beginning to emerge. This presentation takes a look at the array of integration methods that companies are faced with and attempts to explain, in plain English, what they are, how they work and the pros and cons of each.
Drill down on the specifics of deploying and configuring Intacct financial management solutions in this track. Learn the fine points of implementing and adapting the software to fit your business needs, such as the creative use of custom fields and rules, the application of multi- currency features and developing advanced reporting options.
