What are acceptable forms of payment?

You can use any of the following credit cards online: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

What is included in my Advantage 2007 User Conference registration?

Conference Fee Includes:

  • All keynote and breakout sessions on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday October 24-26, 2007
  • “Ask Intacct” 1:1 meeting access Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday October 24-26, 2007
  • Continental breakfast (Thursday and Friday)
  • Lunch (Thursday)
  • AM break refreshment (Thursday and Friday)
  • PM break refreshment (Thursday)
  • Evening receptions (Wednesday and Thursday)

When is the last day to register for the Early Bird Conference Fee?

Can I bring a guest to the Conference?

Guests are welcome at all of the event activities except for the keynote and break-out sessions. All Guests must register for the event and pay the $200 guest fee.

Do I need identification to register for the Conference?

Photo ID will be required at the conference center to pick up your registration badge.

Can I register in advance for particular sessions?

We are not accepting advance registrations for the sessions. Sessions are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Can I register in advance for a 1:1 “Ask Intacct” session?

We are not accepting advance registrations for “Ask Intacct.” A sign-up board will be posted near the registration table at the Conference starting Wednesday afternoon.

Can I earn CPE credit for the Conference?

Yes. You can obtain at least 5 CPE credits through the courses and sessions at Advantage 2007. Please indicate in your registration if you are interested in obtaining CPE credit for the sessions attended at the Conference.

May I photograph or videotape keynotes or sessions?

Photography and videotaping are not allowed.

What are the substitution, cancellation and refund policies?

Substitutions are accepted but must be made in writing to us at jkangas@intacct.com by Wednesday, October 24, 2007.
Full refunds will be provided if your request for a refund is received prior to Monday, October 1, 2007.
Refunds requested after September 30 will be given on the following basis:
October 1–7 – 75% refunded
October 8–14 – 50% refunded
October 15–21 – 25% refunded
After Oct 21- no refund available

Where and when do I pick up my Intacct Advantage 2007 badge and materials?

Your Conference badge and materials can be picked up onsite at our Registration area, located outside of Meeting Room B in the San Jose Convention Center. Registration hours are:
Wednesday, October 24: 1:00–7:00pm
Thursday, October 25: 7:00–9:00am

Will there be wireless Internet access?

Yes. We will have wireless Internet access during the Conference at the Convention Center. Please bring your laptop with you when you register at the Conference, so you can configure it at that time. We recommend that you bring your laptop to all training sessions so that you can participate in the hands-on exercises.

How do I get to the Convention Center from the Airport?

The Convention Center is 4 miles from the Airport.

Where should I stay in San Jose?

The Advantage 2007 User Conference has arranged for a special Conference rate at the San Jose Marriott hotel, which is adjacent to the Convention Center. For reservations, call either of the following numbers and reference the Intacct User Conference 2007: 1 (800) 228-9290 or (408) 280-1300.

What about public transportation? Taxi?

A taxi ride will cost around $20.

How much does it cost to park at the Convention Center? The Marriott? Nearby?

Parking at the Convention Center is available in the main Convention Center garage located at 408 South Almaden Blvd. or 350 South Market Street. The current rate is $1.00 per 20 minutes up to $18.00 per day maximum. After 6:00 pm and on weekends the rate is .50 per 20 minutes up to a $18.00 per day maximum.

Parking at the San Jose Marriott costs $25/day for guests.

What is the weather like?

The climate of San Jose is “Mediterranean” and moderate. October temperatures generally range from 60s in the evening up to the mid-70s in the daytime. However, there could be a spot of rain, so pack accordingly.

How do I sign up for the golf event?

If you've already signed up for the conference but didn't sign up for golf, here is how:

1 - Go to Intacct's Registration System.
2 - Select "Existing Registration" and put in your email address and password
3 - Click the link "Make Changes"
4 - Click on the icon for "Edit Agenda & Fees"
5 - Check "I will attend the Golf Tournament on Wed." (Optional: Golf clubs, handicap rating)
6 - Click "Recalculate Total"
7 - Click "Continue"
8 - Click "Continue" again
9 - Fill in Credit Card Information and click "Update My Registration"

What's the dress code for Advantage 2007?

The dress code for Advantage 2007 is business casual. The facility is air conditioned, so plan for clothing layers for greatest comfort.
