Robert Reid

Chief Executive Officer

With more than 30 years’ experience in the software industry, Rob Reid has a proven track record of driving explosive growth at innovative companies, and has demonstrated a deep expertise in bringing cloud computing to the world of business applications.

Rob served most recently as president and CEO of LucidEra, a market leader for on-demand business intelligence. Prior to that, he was group vice president of industry-leading Siebel CRM On Demand for Oracle Corporation, managing the SMB sector. As president and CEO of on-demand CRM innovator UpShot, Rob grew the company tenfold before it was acquired by Siebel.

Rob served as president of Concur Commerce Network, an e-marketplace for small to mid-sized businesses, and also as president and CEO of Seeker Software. Rob was a vice president at Documentum, where he helped established the company as a world leader of document management software. Rob has also held executive management positions at Octel Communications, NBI, and Zenith Data Systems.

Haris Hadjiioannou

Vice President, Operations

Since 1999, Haris Hadjiioannou has led the technology infrastructure, architecture, security, networks and service operations at Intacct.

Before joining Intacct, he served as senior software engineer at Broadquest, where he was instrumental in developing the company's DataWeb enterprise portal software product. Haris led the technical department at ABC Systems & Software, an outsourced IT services organization for the manufacturing and financial industry, and held numerous positions at ICL Hellas, including managing the company's software and professional services departments.

Haris earned a Master of Science degree in computer science from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.

Aaron Harris

Chief Technology Officer and Vice President, Engineering

Aaron Harris has more than 20 years of high-tech engineering experience in business applications and software development strategies. From Intacct's earliest days, Aaron has lead the company's product vision and technology direction. A pioneer in cloud computing, Aaron helped Intacct build the world's first cloud architecture delivering on-demand financial applications. He regularly contributes to the development of best practices for cloud computing, service oriented architecture, platform as a service, and accounting and finance technology standards.

Prior to launching Intacct, Aaron was a member of Arthur Andersen's Developers' Coordination Council, where he evangelized emerging development technologies, established best practices, and built infrastructure software development tools, focusing on remote data access and web services technologies.

Aaron holds a Master's degree in information systems and a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Brigham Young University.

Marc Linden

Chief Financial Officer

Marc Linden has more than 20 years of finance, business strategy, and general management experience. As CFO, Marc oversees the company's financial and administrative organizations.

Prior to Intacct, Marc spent four years as CFO for Mirapoint, Inc., a leader in secure appliance solutions for messaging. He also served as general manager of Openwave's messaging business unit. Marc came to Openwave from the unified messaging company Onebox, where he was CFO, and was instrumental in the sale of Onebox to Phone.com for $850M.

He has also held positions in corporate development and planning at Octel, served as vice president of business development and CFO for Global Village / OneWorld, and began his career in the technology practice at McKinsey & Company.

Marc holds an economics degree from the University of California at Berkeley, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Kathleen Lord

Vice President, Sales

Kathy Lord leads sales activities and operations, supporting both the direct sales team and the channel partners. She brings to Intacct nearly 20 years of sales management experience at startups and major software companies.

Prior to Intacct, Kathy developed and managed the corporate sales organization at Proofpoint, a leading email security provider. At Biz360, Kathy doubled revenue within the first year. She was also instrumental in building the customer base at Trading Dynamics, a web-based procurement and spend management software company that later became part of Ariba. She also successfully managed Arbor Software's corporate sales team, leading it through its merger with Hyperion.

Kathy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agribusiness from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.

Taylor Macdonald

Vice President, Channels

Taylor Macdonald is responsible for managing the Intacct Value Added Reseller (VAR) and CPA channel initiatives. Taylor has more than 20 years’ experience building and operating some of the largest and most successful channel programs in the world for financial and ERP providers, including Deltek and Sage.

Taylor founded Macdonald Consulting Group in 1990, and was named Sage Software's top worldwide business partner five years in a row. Taylor was also named a Top Channel Executive from VARBusiness and Top 50 Channel Champion from CRN for three consecutive years. He was on the Accounting Today list of the Top 100 Most Influential People in Accounting six times.

Taylor holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Yale University. He previously served multiple terms on the board of directors for the Information Technology Alliance.

Dan Miller

Vice President, Product Management

Dan Miller has more than 20 years of product management, product design, and engineering experience in financial management. At Intacct, Dan leads the product management and user experience teams.

Prior to Intacct, Dan had a long career with Intuit, where he created products for small and mid-size businesses. He designed the user experience for the first several versions of QuickBooks, and provided executive leadership for QuickBooks, QuickBooks Enterprise, and Customer Management solutions. Dan started his career as an engineer at Hewlett-Packard, focusing on systems that simplify business communication and workflow.

Dan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.

Clark Newby

Vice President, Marketing

Clark Newby has been leading marketing teams at high performing software companies for more than a decade. As Vice President of Marketing, Clark oversees demand generation, product marketing, partner marketing, and marketing communications.

Before joining Intacct, Clark led worldwide marketing and alliances at SnapLogic, a leading cloud integration company. Prior to that, he drove Workday’s global branding, corporate communications, demand generation, product marketing, and customer community strategies. Clark has also held senior marketing positions at Fortify Software, PolyServe, Mercury Interactive, and Kintana.

Clark holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Cornell University, and an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley

Derek Taylor

Vice President, Client Services

Derek Taylor has more than 20 years of experience helping companies both large and small develop standards, metrics, packaged services, and on-boarding processes. As VP of Client Services, Derek oversees the company's professional services team, implementation partners, and customer support organization.

Prior to Intacct, Derek spent five years as VP of Customer Operations for Responsys (IPO 2011), a leader in multi-channel digital marketing, managing Technical Services, Customer Support, and Customer Education. While at Responsys, Derek grew Services and Education revenue over 300% and expanded the team from 4 people to over 80.

He has also held senior management positions at Digital Fuel (acquired by VMWARE), Extensity (IPO 2000), and TCSI. Derek began his career in engineering working with Fireman’s Fund and TRW Financial Systems.

Derek holds a computer science degree from Columbia University.

Byron Deeter

Partner, Bessemer Venture Partners

Byron Deeter is a Partner in BVP's Menlo Park office after having previously been a successful entrepreneur, investor, and consultant. At Bessemer, he focuses on investments in the software, Software as a Service (SaaS), Internet, and gaming sectors.

Most recently, Byron was an executive at IBM, as a result of its 2004 acquisition of Trigo Technologies, the product information management company that he co-founded. At Trigo, Byron served as founding President & CEO, then became Vice President of Business Development as the company grew to profitability, 150 employees, and a $40+ million run-rate. BVP worked closely with Byron and the executive team after Trigo's founding in 1999, and invested in all institutional financing rounds.

Byron holds a degree with honors from UC Berkeley in political economy. 

 

John Dillon

CEO, Engine Yard, Inc.

John has over 20 years of experience in executive leadership positions and has delivered several successful exits as CEO of well-known technology companies including Salesforce.com and Hyperion as well as Navis, the leading provider of shipping logistics software. Prior to his CEO roles, John held sales management positions at Oracle and Arbor Software and was a systems engineer at EDS (Electronic Data Systems). John holds an MBA from Golden Gate University and began his career with a B.S. in engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy, serving for five years as an engineer in the nuclear submarine service.

Jeff Epstein

Operating Partner, Bessemer Venture Partners; Senior Advisor at Oak Hill Capital Partners.

Jeff is the former Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Oracle, one of the world’s largest and most profitable technology companies, with a market value of over $100 billion. Prior to joining Oracle, Epstein served as Chief Financial Officer of several public and private companies, including DoubleClick (sold to Google), King World Productions (sold to CBS) and Nielsen’s Media Measurement and Information Group. Earlier in his career, he was an investment banker at The First Boston Corporation.

He serves on the Boards of Directors of Kaiser Permanente, Priceline.com, Shutterstock and Global Eagle Entertainment, and the Management Board of the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Jeff holds an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a BA from Yale College.

 

Brian Jacobs

Founder and General Partner, Emergence Capital

Brian has over 18 years of venture capital experience, a deep national network and broad experience helping both consumer and business-oriented startups achieve their business goals. Prior to founding Emergence, Brian was an early General Partner at St. Paul Venture Capital. During his 10 years at St. Paul, Brian helped to grow the firm to one of the 15 largest venture investors in the country and led the Silicon Valley investing activities. His prior venture capital experience was with Security Pacific Venture Capital. He also worked for the Raychem Corporation, where he developed and marketed advanced software and electronic components. In addition, he has engineering and new product experience with RCA, Westinghouse, and Polaroid; and he holds several patents.

In January 2006, he was named to the Forbes' Midas List of the top venture capital investors. He is an experienced board member who has served on dozens of public and private boards. He currently serves on the boards of Visage Mobile, Krugle, Intacct and DVDPlay.

Mr. Jacobs has a MS and BS in mechanical engineering from M.I.T. and an MBA from Stanford.

Greg Sands

Founder and Managing Partner, Costanoa Venture Capital

Greg brings 13 years as a successful investor at Sutter Hill Ventures where he was an early investor in important companies such as Merced Systems, QuinStreet, Feedburner, AllBusiness, Return Path, and Youku. His track record there shows the ability to identify and attract great entrepreneurs and to balance adding value and active company-building without "micro-managing."

Prior to Sutter Hill, Greg was the first hire at NetscapeCommunications after its founding engineering team. As the company's original product manager, he co-authored the company's original business plan and launched and shipped its initial products, working closely with both engineering and sales. He also worked previously at Cisco Systems, where he was the architect of a global channel management plan, and at Corporate Decisions (now Mercer Management Consulting), where he consulted to start-ups and Fortune 500 companies on product development and marketing strategies.

He earned an AB in government from HarvardCollege in 1989 and received an MBA at Stanford in 1994.

 

Bob Spinner

Managing Director, Sigma West

Bob joined Sigma in 2003 as Venture Partner and in 2006 became Managing Director. He brings to the firm two decades of high-technology business operational experience. Throughout his career, Bob has served in various operational capacities, including CEO, worldwide sales, technical sales support, software programming, database design, and private and public fundraising.

Prior to joining Sigma, Bob was President and CEO of Extensity. During his tenure, Extensity grew from $1 million to $25 million while raising money through private funding and an Initial Public Offering. In March of 2003, Extensity was sold to GEAC. Prior to Extensity, Bob was Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and International Operations at Clarify, a leading provider of integrated CRM solutions.

Bob received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. 

Chelsea Stoner

General Partner, Battery Ventures

Chelsea focuses on growth equity and buyout investments, with a specific emphasis on SaaS and Healthcare IT. In addition to Intacct, she also serves on the boards of Avalara, Brightree, and Data Innovations, and is involved with Glassdoor and Marketo (IPO). Her earlier investments include Groupon (IPO), Guidewire (IPO) and RealPage (IPO). Prior to Battery, she was an Associate at the private equity firm Key Principal Partners.

Earlier in her career, Chelsea was a manager at Accenture, where she led technology and strategy projects. She has also held positions with Merrill Lynch Equity Research in Hong Kong, and with Classified Ventures, where she completed strategic planning and marketing projects as a Kauffman intern. She received a BS with honors in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
